Though my first name is Hillary, most call me "Hilly", the nickname tagged by Bob,

A.K.A. "Prince Charming"...my husband of 42 years and counting.  

 

Our beautiful daughter Katie and  son-in-law Mason are parents to our first 

four beautiful granddaughters, Tyla, Drey, Jada and Tavie.

Our son Andy is a professional Paramedic / Fire Fighter who married our dream

daughter-in-law-Miss Amanda Brown. "Mandy" is our answer to prayer!

Andy and Mandy gave us our fifth and sixth granddaughters, "Mabel" born in February 2020 and "Maisie Sue" born in January 2023!

And with that, "Nana" has become my most recognized name!

 

I am a writer. It's what comes easiest to me. I've worn (and continue to wear) many other hats including former nurse, (some say,"once a nurse always a nurse!), musician, photographer, gardener, chief cook and bottle washer but nothing feels as natural as sitting down and shaping thoughts into words, words into stories and being real about my love of God, Faith and Family. Most days you'll find me (without mascara) in a sweatshirt and yoga pants ready to take a walk, play with my grands or work in the garden.

 

I love interruption. Come on over for a "cuppa" and take a load off!
